During the pandemic, my home became my shooting range, with no coach present to oversee my form. Over the course of a year, an issue emerged that went unnoticed: my pelvis had shifted, tilting to the left, throwing off my alignment with the target. This revelation hit hard, leaving me questioning the efficacy of countless rounds I had fired. Even when a coach was present, their divided attention among other students left my posture unattended, and I constantly doubted the correctness of each shot.
Driven by this experience, I envisioned a compact solution to these challenges—a device that could vigilantly monitor and correct every aspect of my posture. I wanted a partner that would ensure flawless alignment, from my hips to my arm to my shoulder. This idea fueled my determination to create the ultimate virtual coach, unwavering and ever-present, offering reassurance with each pull of the trigger. The result of this journey is more than just technology; it's a personal triumph, a compact yet powerful tool that empowers shooters like me to approach every shot with unwavering confidence, forever transforming how we train and perform.
My aim in this project was to create a practical and effective posture correction device for shooting athletes, addressing the challenge of maintaining proper alignment with the target. The device should serve as a virtual coach, especially when in-person coaching isn't available, providing real-time feedback and guidance on key posture elements such as the hips, arm, and shoulder positions.
The ultimate goal was to empower shooters like me with a tool that significantly improved shooting performance through consistent and accurate alignment.
We knew we succeeded when I, along with fellow shooting athletes using the device, noticed a clear improvement in shot accuracy during training sessions and shooting competitions. Reduced variability in shot placement, increased confidence regarding posture alignment, and positive testimonials from other athletes who'd used the device in their training were the hallmarks of success. This success was evident in both the numbers and the tangible impact on our shooting performance.

The development journey for creating this posture correction device was quite a ride. It all began with exploring various solutions, brainstorming and diving into different technologies and designs. The early prototypes were intriguing, offering insights into what could work but also revealing new hurdles to overcome. Testing became a constant companion in this journey, helping us refine our approach step by step.
Setbacks didn't discourage me; they fueled my determination to improve. I found myself constantly modifying the device based on the valuable feedback I received from others. Making it more user-friendly and adaptable to different shooting scenarios was a key goal.
The testing phase was crucial, and I put the device through extensive trials, simulating a wide range of shooting situations. I scrutinized every detail, ensuring the device not only detected misalignments accurately but also provided clear and intuitive guidance for making on-the-spot corrections.
Through this journey of exploration, testing, and modification, I gradually approached a state of near perfection. The device emerged as the reliable ally I had hoped for, instilling newfound confidence in my posture, leading to more precise shots, and completely transforming my training experience.
I rigorously tested and evaluated Solo, the final device, to ensure all functional parameters met the highest standards. I meticulously checked each aspect of Solo's performance to guarantee its reliability, effectiveness, and ease of use. This thorough testing phase was crucial to confirm that Solo could successfully address common challenges in shooting posture and provide valuable self-correction for athletes. My commitment to excellence drove me to refine every detail, ensuring that Solo would be an innovative and dependable tool for the shooting community.
